SoCal in March. Coronado Island, at the Hotel del Coronado. Coronado is the island that makes San Diego harbor a harbor. The Del was built in 1888 and is one of the grand dames of hotels in the US.
I worked for 2 1/2 hours so someone else could pay the bill

San Diego's airport is right down town - same place as when Lindbergh took off with his Ryan plane made there. This is from our downtown hotel window.
